Vios hit the streets in Penang!

10/6/03 5.45pm
Reached UMWT Pg to grab my Vios, just enter the office, my SA brought out my car number plate to be mounted on the car. what's a nice coincidence. I m helping him to stick the number plate. looks excellent.. after gone thru' some documentation signoff and briefing by the SA on the car, the car was ready to drive.<I felt my heart beat going faster>

6.15pm
First step in the car, all the cushions still covered with the plastic bag, which my SA dun remove it out, they prefer the owner to remove it personally. This is good, I like this practice. Carefully looks thru the meter indicators and check out the tinting, all was good enuf. Same to crickyt, can't use the power window yet. & the SA had done the polishing too for me. huuoooo...

Get the key to start the ignition, but there are no round visual light indicator (i found wira had this nice feature, it's useful) Inside the car, i can't hardly heard of the engine noise, may be i used to drive my old wira..hehe. Adjusting the rear mirror, and played around with the side mirror which electronically control. It's good. Put a reverse gear, and gone out from the office, there's began my driving experience.

6.40pm
After filled up the petrol at nearby petrol station, brought my SA back to his office, then i begins my ride. (time about 630pm) then, The first thing i did was load a audio CD and tune up the sound system for me to enjoy in the car. where i really drive very carefully.

7.10pm
Drive along the Scotland Road, there was heavy traffic jam. somehow it made me looks proud of owing this Vios, so many ppl were looked on it. I felt a little bit shy to face to them..hehe

7.30pm
It's take 1 hour to drive from UMWT, Pg back to home in Bayan Lepas. What a long trip. 1 thing can be commented before the reviews starts, It's very comfortable to ride on this car, won't regret to get 1.
